I was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, where I earned a Master's degree in engineering. In 1980, my family and I relocated to Israel, where I established a successful engineering business. Living in Israel profoundly influenced my identity and passions. I developed a deep love for Israeli culture, traditions, and language.
Inspired by my admiration for Israel, I began teaching young children about its rich cultural heritage. This endeavor quickly became my greatest passion and comfort zone. In 2002, my family and I moved to the USA, and I continued to pursue my passion by educating children about Israeli culture, traditions, and language as part of our extra activities program.
For the past 18 years, teaching children about the culture I hold dear has brought me immense satisfaction, working alongside our dedicated team of educators. It allows me to stay connected to a place I still consider home in Israel. Sharing my knowledge and love for Israeli culture with young learners, from our youngest pre-school children to our kindergarten students, has been a fulfilling journey that continues to inspire me every day, reflecting why families choose Genius Kids.
I am a classically trained and certified music teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience. My career spans both Belarus and the United States, and I have been an integral part of Genius Kids since its inception.
In my music lessons, I offer a comprehensive approach where children engage in bilingual learning through songs in both English and Russian. They actively participate in musical activities and games that enhance their understanding and appreciation of classical music. Additionally, students have hands-on experiences with various musical instruments, fostering their musical skills and creativity.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes not only the technical aspects of music but also the joy and cultural richness that music brings, a value shared by our entire team of educators. I am dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love for music in my students, from pre-kindergarten through kindergarten, encouraging them to explore and express themselves through the universal language of music.
